Trimming a piece of music is to remain part of a music file. This operation can enables you to make your music a more satisfying one.

Then, how to do it simply? The answer is MovieZilla, a popular software. With a few clicks, and through some simple steps, your music will reborn.


Step 1: Open MovieZilla

First, double click your MovieZilla to open it. Then choose the length-width ratio of your slideshow.

After that, click the purple rectangle on the lower-right corner. 

Step 2: Import a music file

Next, you will see exact the same image as the picture below. Click the "Music" to import your  music to this software.

If the music you want to split is you own music, click "Load Music".

Locate your music, and then click it. When your music is selected, click the "open" button on the lower right corner. After doing that, your music will be imported to MovieZilla.

Step 3: Apply the music file to timeline

Select your music by clicking it, and a yellow frame will be found after you do this.

Next, you need to right-click your music, and there will be a list. Find the "Add to Timeline" on the list and click it..

Step 4: Trim your music

Select your music by clicking it, and a yellow frame will be found after you do this.

After that, click the button in the red rectangle to trim your music.

Next, you will see exact the same image as the picture below. You can set your music start time by clicking the left button and set end time by clicking the right button.

You can see the difference in the preview window to make sure the music has been trim successfully.

Step 5: Export your music

If you think your music is ready for exporting, click the "export" button.

Now, we come to the the last step. You can change the settings of your music, such as the name of your music, where you want to keep your music, and the resolution settings. When all these are done, you can press the "export" button on the lower-right corner to export the final edition.
